Military Performance Coach.

Helping others reach their full potential.

Who is Luke Read?

I’m Luke Read, a former Parachute Regiment soldier, ultra-marathon runner, resilience coach, and founder of Airborne Fit. Shaped by eight years of service with 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, including two tours of Afghanistan, my mission has always been simple: build a fitness culture where people back each other.

As an ultra runner and committed fundraiser, I’ve raised over £100,000 for local charities supporting families, children, and hospitals. Everything I do is rooted in community, challenge, and giving back - values forged in the Regiment and carried into daily life.

As a resilience coach, I help individuals and teams build mental and physical strength that lasts. Whether in the gym, at work, or in everyday life, my goal is to show what it truly means to develop a resilient body and mind.

Personal Achievements

Pushing limits has been a constant since leaving the Parachute Regiment. From ultra-endurance events to demanding physical challenges, each achievement is a test of resilience, discipline, and mindset.

These challenges aren’t about ego - they’re about finding out what’s possible.

fundraising

Raising money for causes that matter is a huge part of what I do. From endurance challenges to community events, I’ve raised over £100,000 for local and national charities supporting families, children, and hospitals.

Every challenge is about more than the finish line - it’s about making a real difference.

Resilience coaching

Resilience is about how you respond when things get hard. Drawing on experience from the Parachute Regiment and years of personal challenge,

My resilience coaching helps individuals and teams build mental strength, perform under pressure, and support each other when it matters most.
