I’m Luke Read a former Parachute Regiment soldier, ultra marathoner runner, resilience coach, and the founder of Airborne Fit, a community gym built on camaraderie, resilience, and ego-free training. Shaped by eight years of service with the 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment, including two tours of Afghanistan, the mission has always been clear: create a fitness culture where people back each other.
An ultra runner and committed fundraiser, I have raised over £100,000 for local charities supporting families, children, and hospitals. Everything he does is rooted in community, challenge, and giving back - just like it was in the Regiment.
As a resilience coach I help individuals and teams how to build their personal resilience and push their limits. Whether that be in the gym when training or in aspects of daily life or in work environment my goal is to show everyone what it means to build a resilient body and mind.

My Approach
My approach is built on discipline, resilience, and real connection, shaped by my time in the Parachute Regiment and years of personal challenge. Whether coaching individuals, working with teams, or speaking to a room, my focus is always on practical tools, ego-free progress, and helping people perform at their best together.
Ignore the noise
Focus on yourself and block out the external noise. Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing and focus on yourself.
Maximum Efficiency
Every action has a purpose and plays a key role in ensuring you reach your goals and aspirations.
Control What you can
While you may try, you can’t control everything and that’s ok. Controlling what you can will put you on the best path.
Back yourself
Now’s the time to have confidence in yourself. The hard work is done you’ve put in the time and effort, time to prove it.
